BEGINS at 12:30 PM!

The Spirit of Watsonville 4th of July parade proceeds down Main St. from St. Patrick’s Church to First Street. Thousands of spectators line the route five to six people deep. Those wanting a front row seat, place their chairs along the route early in the morning of the parade date. Those interested in participating in the parade should submit an entry form soon after they are made available.

2023 Parade Route and Street Closures

The following road closures will be taking place on Tuesday, July 4,
10 AM – 2:30 PM for the Spirit of Watsonville 4th of July Parade:


Parade Staging areas:  Main St. (SW Lane) | Pennsylvania to Rodriguez, Hyde St. | 8th to Main, Freedom Blvd. | Main to Brennan, Western Dr./Southern Cir | Midfield to Main


The parade is scheduled to begin at 12:30 at the corner of Freedom Boulevard and Main Street and will proceed down Main Street, ending on the corner of First Street and Rodriguez Street.

The following are closures related to the parade route and food & art vending: Main St. | Rodriguez, Ford St. | Rodriguez to Main, East & West 5th St. | Brennan & Rodriguez to Main, East & West Lake Ave. | Brennan & Rodriguez to Main, East & West Beach St. | Union & Rodriguez to Main, Peck St. | Union to Main, Maple Ave. & 2nd St. | Union & Rodriguez to Main, Central Ave. | Union to Main, 1st St. | Rodriguez to Main.
