Vision Zero
What is Vision Zero?
Vision Zero is a strategy to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries while increasing safe, healthy and equitable mobility for all.
The Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency (H.S.A.) introduced Vision Zero to agencies within Santa Cruz County and supports its implementation.
The Watsonville City Council approved the implementation of Vision Zero at its January 16, 2018 meeting. Council approved the City of Watsonville Vision Zero Action Plan 2021 at its April 13, 2021 meeting. The Plan can be viewed at the following link.
