Price Gouging Concerns

Price gouging is when the cost of an item is increased by more than 10% after an emergency has been declared. (There is an exception if the price increase is because of additional costs imposed by the supplier for the goods or for additional costs for labor or materials.)

The Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office will be handling price-gouging concerns in our community.
