Santa Cruz Climate Action Network Santa Cruz Climate Action Network (SCCAN) seeks to address the current Climate Change Emergency, recognizing that failure to act quickly will have devastating effects on future generations of humans and other life forms.
Environmental Racism from the Climate Ready Project, Rev. Dr. Gerald Durley joined us for a conversation about environmental racism. He shared his experience as a civil rights activist, pastor, and now, as an environmental justice activist. We discussed the origins of environmental racism, how environmental racism manifests in communities of color, and ways to be an ally to these communities.
The Nature Center The Nature Center plays a dynamic role in educating and inspiring visitors about our local wetlands and award winning trails, as well as many City utility conservation topics. The Nature Center is housed under the City of Watsonville's Public Works and Utilities Department's Outreach Program.

Youth for Climate Justice The youth chapter of Santa Cruz Climate Action Network
Youth Vs. Apocalypse A Bay Area-based diverse group of young climate justice activists, in particular, youth of color to fight for a livable climate and an equitable, sustainable, and just world. We organize youth-led actions and bring more young people into the movement.
Frontline Youth for Climate Justice Alliance Frontline youth have always been on the forefront of movements for justice and social change (from the Black Panthers, the Young Lords, American Indian Movement, to the Puerto Rico Independence Movement, to Black Lives Matter and Standing Rock), and that’s also the case in the intergenerational Climate Justice movement.
Earth Guardians We inspire and train diverse youth to be effective leaders in the environmental, climate and social justice movements.
