Compost Giveaway Program

CA State requires each city to procure back products recycled from green cart waste. To give back to Watsonville residents and businesses who separate organics and recycling, the City is now offering free community compost. 

From your green cart to your garden. Thanks for separating your food and plant waste free of plastics. 

Community Compost Guidelines: 

• Residents and city businesses only 
  
• City of Watsonville Waste and Recycling Center 
  
• 320 Harvest Drive 
  
• Wednesday through Saturday 9am – 2 pm 
  
• Self Loading only 
  
• Bring your own container, shovels 
  
• Envelope or id showing city residence
