History of the Department

Chief Gene Friend Museum

Our museum offers you a view of the apparatus and protective equipment that was in use as far back as the late 1800s. The two story building was in use by the fire department from 1924 until 1982 when the new fire station was built. The two buildings are joined together offering you a glimpse of the past and present.
