Watsonville High School makes it to the CIF State Wrestling Championship for the third consecutive year!
17-year-old Joselyn Gutierrez is the only female wrestler from Watsonville High to qualify for the State Championship. Today, she is heading to Bakersfield, and her family and school staff gathered to encourage her and show support before leaving to the competition.
Here at Watsonville Police Department, we support students' success, and some of our Officers and the Watsonville Fire Department were happy to escort Joselyn on her way to the competition.

¡Watsonville High School llega al Campeonato Estatal de Lucha Femenina CIF por tercer año consecutivo!
Joselyn Gutierrez, de 17 años, es la única luchadora de Watsonville High que califico para el Campeonato Estatal. Hoy se dirige a Bakersfield, su familia y el personal de la escuela se reunieron para animarla y mostrarle apoyo antes de partir hacia la competencia.
Aquí en el Departamento de Policía de Watsonville apoyamos el éxito de los estudiantes y algunos de nuestros Oficiales y el Departamento de Bomberos de Watsonville estuvieron felices de acompañar a Joselyn en su camino a la competencia.
