Her journey with the Watsonville Police Department began back in 2002 as a Police Cadet, followed by her role as a Police Service Specialist. In 2007, she was sworn in as a Watsonville Police Officer. Since then, she’s worn many hats, including Gang Detective, Professional Standards Division Officer, Cadet Advisor, and member of our Crisis Negotiation Team.
Sergeant Rangel has played a significant role in our department, contributing to various initiatives and efforts. We’re proud to see her continue to grow in her career!

Su trayectoria en el Departamento de Policía de Watsonville comenzó en 2002 como Cadete de Policía, seguida de su rol como Especialista del Servicio Policial. En 2007, juró su cargo como Oficial de Policía de Watsonville. Desde entonces, ha desempeñado diversas funciones, incluyendo Detective de Pandillas, Oficial de la División de Estándares Profesionales, Asesora de Cadetes y miembro de nuestro Equipo de Negociación de Crisis.
