The City of Watsonville will officially welcome new leadership in public safety during a community meet & greet and swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, February 10.
Community members are invited to attend a meet & greet with Fire Chief Corey Schaefer and Police Chief Brian Shab from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the Community Room at the Civic Plaza, located at 275 Main Street in Watsonville. This informal gathering offers residents an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and get to know the leaders of the City’s fire and police departments.
Immediately following the meet and greet, Chief Schaefer and Chief Shab will be sworn in during the City Council meeting at 5:30 PM in the Council Chambers.
The City looks forward to congratulating Fire Chief Corey Schaefer on his recent promotion and officially welcoming Police Chief Brian Shab to Watsonville.
