AND WORK FOR THE ENVIRONMENT | Our team is hiring! The Environmental Outreach and Initiatives Program is searching for a part-time Bilingual Environmental Outreach Specialist. Keep our residents in-the-know about new projects, regulations, and events related to our water system, waste stream, landfill, streets infrastructure, wastewater, and wetland trail network.

This is an opportunity to practice the art of effective marketing and outreach to Watsonville residents!

Wanted: a sense of humor combined with a high level of skill and creativity in environmental community outreach. Day to day includes developing materials; newsletters, articles, media releases, flyers, and brochures, as well as creating exhibit displays and presentations, and delivering programs to small-large groups of adults. Requires some weekend work at the Nature Center and the ability to speak/write Spanish. Knowledge of InDesign, Publisher, Illustrator is highly desirable. Put your passion and skills to work in a dynamic community where you will make a difference!
