California State Parks awarded $548.3 million in grants to create new parks throughout the state. Recipients will create new parks or renovate existing ones, such as Watsonville’s City Plaza, contributing to a better quality of life for Californians who seek the outdoors to improve their physical, mental and social health! This $3.5 million grant will allow us to implement and build our City Plaza Master Plan that was created with our community in 2019-2020.
