Nineteen members of our police department were recognized during a Promotional & Badge Pinning Ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
During the ceremony, eight WPD officers received their permanent badge numbers and 11 department members were honored for their promotions and the work they do to keep Watsonville safe.
This is the largest promotional & badge pinning ceremony since starting this tradition in 2017.

Diecinueve miembros de nuestro departamento de policía fueron reconocidos durante una ceremonia el miércoles por la tarde.
Durante el evento, ocho oficiales de WPD recibieron sus números de placa permanentes y 11 miembros del departamento fueron honrados por sus ascensos y el trabajo que realizan para mantener la seguridad de Watsonville.
Esta es la ceremonia más grande desde que comenzó esta tradición en el 2017.
