[ARCHIVED] Survey on Watsonville Highway Art

Wall Mural Location

As part of a Caltrans Clean California State Highway Beautification project, Caltrans and the City of Watsonville are asking for community feedback to help create an upcoming Call for Artists.  This project will fund three new art installations:
  • A mural on the existing retaining wall located on Highway 152 (Main St.) between Clifford Avenue and Progress Avenue,
  • Murals on utility boxes along Route 152, and
  • An expansion of the “Celebrating the Dignity of Labor” installation with additional mosaic tile medallions near the Main and Freedom Boulevard intersection.
Please fill out our survey to help us to identify direction, themes and community aspirations for these installations. The survey will be open through Sunday, June 19, 2022.
