On saturday, September 3rd, the Science Workshop held their bi-monthly teen training session. This one was a sewing workshop. We invited three local sewing mavens to provide instruction and inspiration. They were Gladys Perkins, Pam Harris, and Rachel Clark.
At the end of the two hour training, staff, students, and siblings were creating projects such as re-useable bags from donated clothing. The training was held to help staff and students acquire sewing skills to create items for the Fashion Show being held on October 13th.
