The City of Watsonville, CA and Watsonville Municipal Airport:

 

The City of Watsonville, CA as sponsor for the Watsonville Municipal Airport hereby announces a proposed overall DBE goal for its Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. The proposed overall goal for FAA-AIP funded projects in FY 2022 through FY 2024 is 1.41%.

Fiscal Year 2022: N/A No AIP Funded Project

Fiscal Year 2023: 1.97%

• Zero Emission Vehicle and Infrastructure Pilot Program: 0.00%
• Upgrade Airfield Access Security & DBE/MBE Program and Goal Development; Program Update: 2.35%

Fiscal Year 2024: 0.59%

• Environmental - Relocate Runway 27 Threshold and Reconfigure Apron Markings and Taxiway B & C to Meet Runway Visibility Zone Standards: 0.55%
• Design South Tie-Downs: 0.71%

The City and Airport will receive and consider public comments on the proposed goal until 2 PM Pacific Standard Time on January 27, 2023.  Please email these comments to lspillers@dbeplans.com.

Unfortunately, the City of Watsonville is forced to reject all bids opened on May 7, 2019 due to errors and irregularities in the bidding process. The bid award is contingent upon a grant offer from the FAA and the only qualifying bid exceeded available grant funds. 

The project is will be re-advertised with a new bid date of May 30, 2019 at 11:00 am.  New plans and specifications will be available on Friday May 10, 2019.
