Watsonville Emergency Airlift Command Team (W.E.A.C.T.) is an all volunteer organization, partnering with the Municipal Airport, to provide airlift support in event of local or regional emergencies. W.E.A.C.T.'s development was inspired by the pilots, volunteers and airport employees who worked tirelessly during the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake as depicted in "LIFELINE."
