Volunteers

Volunteering at the Library

Generous and caring volunteers make the Watsonville Public Library the best it can be. Volunteering can have a positive impact on many peoples lives. We are seeking adult volunteers for these various roles:

Library Link

This program brings library materials to home bound community members. The LibraryLink program requires at least a 6 month commitment of 2-4 hours a month.

Literacy Tutor

Volunteers are trained to work one-on-one with a person who wants to learn to read or write.

Friends of the Library Volunteer

The Friends of the Library are seeking volunteers to help with book sales, fundraisers, and other activities in support of the library.

If you are interested in volunteering with the library, please fill out the volunteer application linked below.

Teens & Community Service Hours

Teens looking to do community service hours can turn in a volunteer application at any time during the year. The teen librarian will contact the applicants at the beginning of each semester to see if she has openings for them.

Otherwise, we've put together a list of Community Service Locations that may be looking for volunteers so that you can complete your community service hours for graduation.
