We're currently hiring new and experienced police officers with a hiring bonus of up to 30,000 dollars.  

Applicants are required to submit an application through the city’s webpage along with a verification letter(s) showing proof of a passing score of 44 or higher for the POST PELLET B Exam and a passing score for the Physical Agility Exam at the time of application. The Post Pellet B Exam and the Physical Agility Exam may be waived due to education or work experience.

South Bay Regional Public Safety Training, located in San Jose, offers the test on behalf of the Watsonville Police Department.

We are also accepting the National Testing Network scores for the written portion.

The written and physical exams will be waived for academy graduates and lateral applicants.
