[ARCHIVED] Clean-up efforts underway following heavy flooding

clean-up efforts

Clean-up efforts in the City are underway following last night's flooding caused by a breach in Corralitos Creek.

Here's what our crews are currently working on:

  • Street sweeping in heavily impacted areas

  • Large dumpster bins are being sent to affected areas

  • Clearing of storm drains

  • Restocking sand and bags at Fire Station 1 (115 2nd Street) and setting up a second sandbag location at Ramsay Park

Engineers are also assessing damages throughout the City. Please note there are no road closures in effect. If you see something that needs immediate attention, please report it by calling 831-471-1151.

Please toss yard debris in your green bins to avoid blocking the storm drains.
