[ARCHIVED] City issues Potential Flood Advisory for Several Watsonville Neighborhoods

Potential Flood Advisory

January 2, 2023

The City of Watsonville has issued a Potential Flood Advisory within the following areas: 

  • Franich Neighborhood: Vista Montaña Dr., Bridge St., Cipres St. & Franich Dr.
  • Bridge St., Manzana St., Marcela Dr., Secoya St.
  • Joyce Dr., Village Way, McKenzie Ave, Berman Ln., Rogge St.
  • J St., Blackburn St., Bridge St.
  • Bridge St., Delta Way, Bronte Ave. 
  • Loughead St., Riverside Dr., Main St. 
  • E. Front St., Dawson St. 

Heavy rains and runoff are expected starting Tuesday evening through Thursday. Residents in these areas should be prepared to evacuate and move to higher ground. Consider moving before the start of the weather system.
