UPDATE JANUARY 5, 3:45PM


SANDBAGS: The self-serve sandbag station at Fire Station 1 (115 2nd St.) is still up and running. Community Volunteers, California Conservation Corps, and City staff have continued filling sandbags to assist our residents. Ramsay Park is NOW available for public pick-up of pre-fill sandbags. Until supplies last, sandbags will also be available at Joyce-McKenzie Park for residents who live in the flood zone area. Do not dispose of your sandbags.

LIFTLINE TRANSPORTATION: With evacuation orders and flood warning advisories lifted, LiftLine will continue assisting residents who need transportation services to return home. Please call 831-688-9663. 

CITY HOTLINE: The City hotline has been reactivated. Residents with questions can call 831-768-3038 from 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. 

WASTE COLLECTION: Garbage pick-up will stay the same for areas previously under evacuation orders. Please place your bins at the curb for pickup this Friday.

CLEAN-UP: Crews are continuing clean up as needed and continuing normal storm preparedness patrol throughout the City. We ask residents to ensure their storm drains are clear of any debris.

EVACUATION/WARNING ORDERS: As of 10:05 AM today, all orders of evacuation and flood warnings have been lifted within the City of Watsonville. Residents may return to their homes. Please know more storms are headed our way, and future evacuations are possible.

𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗔Ñ𝗢𝗟

BOLSAS DE ARENA: La estación de bolsas de arena de autoservicio en la Estación de Bomberos 1 (115 2nd St.) todavía está en funcionamiento. Voluntarios de la comunidad, el Cuerpo de Conservación de California y el personal de la Ciudad han seguido llenando bolsas de arena para ayudar a nuestros residentes. Ramsay Park AHORA está disponible para la recogida pública de sacos de arena listos. Hasta agotar existencias, las bolsas de arena también estarán disponibles en el parque Joyce-McKenzie para los residentes que viven en el área de la zona de inundaciones. No se deshaga de sus sacos de arena.


TRANSPORTE LIFTLINE: Con las órdenes de evacuación y los avisos de advertencia de inundación levantados, LiftLine continuará ayudando a residentes que necesitan servicios de transporte para regresar a casa. Llame al 831-688-9663.

LÍNEA DIRECTA DE LA CIUDAD: La línea directa de la Ciudad ha sido reactivada. Los residentes que tengan preguntas pueden llamar al 831-768-3038 de 8AM-5PM, de lunes a viernes.

RECOLECCIÓN DE BASURA: La recolección de basura seguirá siendo la misma para las áreas que anteriormente estaban bajo órdenes de evacuación. Coloque sus contenedores en la acera para recogerlos este viernes.

LIMPIEZA: Equipos continúan limpiando según sea necesario y continúan con la patrulla normal de preparación para tormentas en toda la ciudad. Pedimos a los residentes que se aseguren de que sus desagües pluviales estén libres de escombros.

ÓRDENES DE EVACUACIÓN/ADVERTENCIA: A partir de las 10:05AM de hoy, se han levantado todas las órdenes de evacuación y advertencias de inundación dentro de la ciudad de Watsonville. Residentes pueden regresar a sus hogares. Tenga en cuenta que se avecinan más tormentas y que es posible que haya evacuaciones en el futuro.
