Starting today, Safe & Sane Fireworks will be available for purchase from authorized vendors in the City of Watsonville.
These are the only type of fireworks allowed in the City of Watsonville. Practice the safety tips below if you are planning on using Safe & Sane Fireworks this 4th of July:
▪️Always read directions
▪️Have an adult present
▪️Only use fireworks outdoors
▪️Never use fireworks near dry grass or other flammable materials
▪️Light one firework at a time
▪️Have a bucket of water and a hose nearby
▪️Sweep up (do not hose down) your area after using fireworks to prevent trash from washing down the storm drains
Fireworks that do not have the State Fire Marshal's seal of approval are illegal. You can report the use of illegal fireworks through the Watsonville Police mobile app or by calling 831-471-1151.

▪️Barra (no lave con la manguera) su área después de usar cohetes para prevenir que la basura se deslave por las alcantarillas
