We are proud to announce that Tamara Vides, our Assistant City Manager, has been selected as the 2023 recipient of the John H. Hail Memorial Award from the League of California Cities.
This distinguished award recognizes an outstanding municipal assistant who has contributed significantly to their City government and the advancement of the community as a whole.
Tamara has worked for the City of Watsonville for more than 25 years, slowly gaining experience in the many facets of our government. In recent years, her exceptional skills have enabled her to address critical issues, including homelessness, navigating the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic, and managing the impact of natural disasters. Her constant love and dedication to this City have benefited and guided us through tough times.
Tamara received her award during a statewide conference in southern California in March. Join us in thanking her for her excellent work in Watsonville!
