Saturday, February 7th, from 9AM to 1PM join us and Watsonville Wetlands Watch at Struve Slough 1912 Main Street by the Butterfly Memorial.
Restoration will benefit one of the largest remaining freshwater marshlands on our coast, which serves as a home and resting place for many migrating birds and threatened, endangered or “of special concern” animal and plant species.
Help us remove invasive plants, install native species, collect litter, and learn about the importance of our wetlands.
There will be live music, other local environmental and climate organizations, and free lunch for volunteers. Students can also earn community service hours.
Learn more about how you can support local wetlands at watsonvillewetlandswatch.org.
