A major construction project that will improve Freedom Blvd. and Green Valley Rd. is expected to start next week.
Crews will be replacing nearly 6,000 linear feet of old sewer and water pipelines. Construction is expected to last through the end of the year.
We understand that this project will create an inconvenience, but we appreciate your patience while we replace this aging infrastructure. At least one lane of traffic in each direction on Freedom Blvd. and Green Valley Rd. will be maintained during working hours from 7:30AM to 4:00PM on weekdays. No work is allowed on weekends or holidays without City approval.
The second phase of this construction project will include roadway reconstruction on Freedom Blvd. from Alta Vista to Green Valley Rd. including pavement replacement, striping, pedestrian walkway, and curb ramp improvements, and the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Sydney Ave. and Freedom Blvd.

Un gran proyecto de construcción que mejorará Freedom Blvd y Green Valley Rd. está por comenzar la próxima semana.
Equipos reemplazarán casi 6.000 pies lineales de viejas tuberías de alcantarillado y agua. Se espera que la construcción dure hasta fin de año.
Entendemos que este proyecto creará inconvenientes, pero apreciamos su paciencia mientras reemplazamos esta infraestructura obsoleta. Al menos un carril de tráfico en cada dirección en Freedom Blvd. y Green Valley Rd. se mantendrá durante el horario laboral de 7:30 a. m. a 4:00 p. m. de lunes a viernes. No se permite trabajar los fines de semana o días festivos sin la aprobación de la Ciudad.
La segunda fase de este proyecto de construcción incluirá la reconstrucción de la carretera en Freedom Blvd. desde Alta Vista hasta Green Valley Rd. incluyendo el reemplazo del pavimento,
trazado de líneas, mejoras en las rampas para peatones,bordillos, y la instalación de un nuevo semáforo en la intersección de Sydney Ave. y Freedom Blvd.
