Sandbags Available for Residents

Additional sandbag locations have been setup by the county.

Our City has requested an additional 20,000 sandbags and 150 tons of sand from the County. Volunteers from community-based organizations are working hard to keep up with the demand. Sandbags at both sandbag locations, Fire Station 1(115 2nd St.) and Ramsay Park, will be prioritized for Watsonville residents from 7AM-6PM. 


A customer service line has been set up for residents with inquiries. The 831-768-3133 line will be staffed daily from 7AM-6PM.

Nuestra Ciudad ha solicitado 20.000 sacos de arena adicionales y 150 toneladas de arena del Condado. Voluntarios de organizaciones comunitarias están trabajando arduamente para satisfacer la demanda. Sandbags are available for Watsonville residents are Fire Station 1 (115 2nd St.) and Ramsay Park from 7AM-6PM.


They are self-serve stations, and City crews are working hard to keep them stocked. Please do not call our fire or police departments asking for sandbag updates, as they are responding to calls for service in the community.
