The Watsonville Academy is a free nine-week interactive program that gives participants an inside look at how local government operates. Sessions will be held every other Thursday from July 24, 2025, to November 13, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM and include dinner starting at 5:30 PM.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and must reside in or own a business in the City of Watsonville (city limits).
Attendance is important to gaining a good understanding of how your local government works. To receive a certificate of completion, participants cannot miss more than two class sessions. Space is limited to 25 participants and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
