Sydney and Jehl Avenue Sewer, Storm, and Water Improvements
The project will replace approximately 1,670 linear feet of 4-inch cast iron water main with new 6-inch PVC. It also includes approximately 1,000 linear feet of 12-inch asbestos cement pipe sewer replacement with both open trenching and trenchless cured in place pipe lining to help reduce costs and impacts on the neighborhood. The project will also improve stormwater flow to avoid infiltration into the sewer and help mitigate localized flooding.
Work is anticipated to begin in August and continue through the end of 2022. We understand this project will create an inconvenience for the public and appreciate your patience while this aging infrastructure is being replaced. The map below provides an overview of the limits of the project.
