Conservation Education Programs and Resources
The City of Watsonville Resource Conservation Program was established in 1990 to promote the conservation of natural resources and to safeguard the environment for future generations.
-
Community Cleanups
The main goal of this program is to work with (you) the community in your chosen area to cleanup and identify ways to reduce litter pollution on the streets from going into the storm drains and ending up in our waterways. Unlike the sewer lines connected to households and businesses, storm drains go directly to the wetlands, creeks, rivers, and ocean without being treated first.
-
