California Agricultural Workers’ History Center

Research Center

The California Agricultural Workers' History Center (CAWHC) is a developing research center focused on the diverse and multicultural ongoing history of the people who work in California agriculture.

Collections

The room houses the CAWHC circulating and reference collections, the Californiana reference collection, microfilm of the Register-Pajaronian and other papers dating from circa 1865, and the Genealogy reference collection.

The room is used for research and quiet study. It faces the "By the Strength of Our Hands" display which covers the timeline of agriculture in our area from Early Agriculture to the New Millennia.
