Bulky Items Collbulkfront coverection Program

Available to residents living within city limits who have a garbage utility bill with the City of Watsonville, except apartment complexes and businesses. One free pickup is available per calendar year with a maximum of three (3) bulky items per service. Additional pickup(s) are available at an additional cost. Service charges may be paid by phone or added to utility bills.

Bulky item services are available Monday through Friday from 7 am-1 pmServices are not available on holidays. Services are only available to customers whose utility accounts are current. 


How to Have your Bulky Items Picked Up

  1. Contact Customer Service at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a bulky item pickup.
  2. Provide a list of the 3 bulky items to be collected. Only items placed in the service order will be collected.
  3. Place bulky items on the curb by 7 am on your collection day. 
    • Empty drawers, washers, dryers, etc., and tape doors shut.
  4. Leave a 3-foot space between your items and your garbage carts, parked cars, and mailboxes.

Failure to comply with the requirements may result in the City not servicing your request.

  • Landscaping materials: dirt, sand, stumps, etc.

Take non-accepted items to the Waste and Recycling Drop-off, located at 320 Harvest Dr. gate 4.


Consider Donating to a non-profit agency in Watsonville

 Your items may be given a second chance instead of going to the landfill.
